We are here. We haven't even started, and there are already a few details I've learned.

1) You need to check your old gear in your bike bags. Airlines don't like CO2 cartidges. You will be called back to the ticket agent.

2) The TSA will not remove valves from said CO2 cartridges. You will be called to the ticket agent again.

3) No matter how many times you assemble a bike - colorful language will be heard.
